I’ve never really been a big breakfast person which is fine because I do intermittent fasting a few days a week. We will get to that later. 😉
A typical breakfast for me will be:
* 1-2 eggs and 2 slices of bacon. You’ll want to check the brand of bacon because some have more net carbs than others. What kind of diet says bacon is okay?! This one! Obviously you won’t want to do it all the time.
Net carbs: about 3-4
* 1 slice of Sugar Free Healthy Life bread and a teaspoon of low-carb peanut butter. I get Earth Balance which has 5 net carbs per serving. The bread I get has 6 net carbs per slice and 11 net carbs for every 2 slices.
Net Carbs: I count it as 10 which is pretty high for breakfast but I keep the rest of my day pretty strict. A picture is attached below.
* Atkins meal bar
The net carbs will be right on the package.
I have some great breakfast recipes (that include waffles) that I will share in a later post. Right now, I’m keeping it simple and basic.
