Almond Flour Waffles

Who says you can’t have waffles on a low-carb diet?! That’s right, you can! I make these Almond Flour Waffles on occasion and usually on the weekends when I have more time to enjoy myself. Depending on how thick you like your waffles will determine the amount of cream or water you’ll add. I use 1/2 cup cream and 1/2 cup of water. 🙂 img_7197

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2-1 cup of heavy cream or water
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Dash of cinnamon

Directions

Some people do their wet and dry ingredients separate but I just throw it all in together. I’m a rebel like that. 😉

  1. In a large bowl combine all your ingredients together until smooth
  2. Preheat waffle maker and add non-stick spray (I use Pam)
  3. Add the mixture to your waffle maker once it’s ready
  4. Cook until golden brown

** I top mine with butter and Sugar Free Log Cabin syrup. These waffles are super filling so I would suggest freezing the other to enjoy later. 🙂
